Re: Photos + 5-22
hi,
http://www.ebay.de/itm/ws/eBayISAPI....m=380441656415 Radlick, not Rüdlick, but it's OK. Has been on eBay very long time ago. Seems to have been taken in Trier Euren in May 1940. But I'm not very sure of the period since it wears the red band around the cowling. We can find three other pictures of this plane here around, with and without the red band. Radlick plane? Maybe. Seems to have been flown by Mölders too, still with only one Winkel. Tschüss, Franck. |

Belgium? Someone to read the back picture? Thanks. Can find it here, too: http://www.me109.info/display.php?a=e&fid=4864 And there is another picture to confirm it's the same. An E-1 thanks to the present. Cheers, franck. |

Re: Photos + 5-22
Hello Peter,
Thank you. It seems to me that it is what you "translate" not what it is "writen" since the writen word starts with Ost... Why not Ostvletern from West-Wlams language? (same place of course) |
Re: Photos + 5-22
... Sorry,
Whatever, I think that number style match much more with JG 26 than JG 3 which is given on Falcon site from a book caption. Oostvlekeren is in Ypres area ... See Prien Teil 3. One lost in June... but not necessarily that one since the picture doesn't seem to depict a 50% damage plane. And JG 3 in this area at that time? Cheers, Franck. |
