"Details the first combat use of remote-controlled glide bombs by the U.S. Army Air Force." Usual disclaimer, Ed |
Re: Mission 376 - May 28, 1944 - ETO
Isn't this a reprint of the hardcover Hikoki title?

I don't know. Perhaps someone should contact the publisher.
A reference for those unfamiliar with the Hikoki version: http://www.internetmodeler.com/2004/...mission376.php Ed |

Same book just reprinted in paperback.

Re: Mission 376 - May 28, 1944 - ETO
It's indeed a paperback reprint of the original Hikoki hardback version from 2004, specifically aimed by Stackpole for the US market.
And to put things right: of course the book does not contain the story of the first use of 'remotely controlled' glide bombs. They actually were the unguided GB-1 bombs, that were used on Cologne! |

Thank you, sir, very much, for responding.

Stackpole has a very strong military history lineup with their softcover and now also hardcover titles.
