Hello,

According to John Foreman´s Fighter Command War Diaries, Volumes 4 and 5, the number of RAF Fighter Command confirmed claims in the ETO between 1 July 1943 and 30 June 1944 was 1.413,5. Between 1 July 1944 and 8 May 1945 RAF fighters over Northwestern Europe made another 1.732 confirmed claims.

The USAF post war revised Victory Credits published in USAF Study #85 is

Spitfire-15;
P-38-452;
P-47-2658;
P-51 4179;
P-61 128 (the last figure I am still working on)

Total - 7432.55 rounded to 7433 for all USAAF ETO air Victory credits for 8th and 9th AF Fighter Commands.

Frank Olynyk will have slightly more refined credits as the USAF does review submissions for changes/corrections
