Hermann Graf's fate after WW2
He became a salesman for an "electronics" manufaturer and rose to branch manager in "Baden" after the war.
Which Baden are we talking about? Baden-Württenberg, where he was born, or Baden in Switzerland? Thanks in advance. |
Re: Hermann Graf's fate after WW2
This link on wikipedia (not always accurate, but.......) says in the "Later Life Section" toward the bottom of the article that it was Baden-Württenberg.

Hello,
Another possibility would be the town of Baden Baden, some 40 km N of Strasbourg Regards Marc |

Hi Juha,
They can be trusted. So I take it for granted. Merci. Chris |
Re: Hermann Graf's fate after WW2
Baden-Württemberg is a one of the states in Germany (similar to the U.S.), not a city in Württemberg. Nevertheless, there is a city called Baden-Baden within Baden-Württemberg and also Engen, his place of birth and death is in the same state. ;)
