Hi Guys, Another death notice to be identified, Ofw. Rudolf Zankl, lost on the 4th October 1940. Any further details always appreciated & credited.

Hi Melvin,

I have him as pilot of a Do17Z of III/KG76 w.n.1136 killed with his crew in a crash at Pontoise on return from attack on London. Not Certain if this was the 3/4th Oct. or the 4th. My notes have B Oblt Altenmuller and Uffzs Schmelze and Hoffmann. I think this one has featured on TOCH before

Hi Matti, and apologies to Melvin for nipping in here! would you happen to have the details of fellow III/KG76 Dornier17Z lost the same evening, being flown by Lt Karl-Gunther Meister who was killed, plus three crew wounded
A/c was W.Nr2888 from 9/KG76 crashing at Haudivilliers.
