first backside reads: "Dear beloved Hans, for remembrance to nice hours at „Kommiss“ (a german saying for military duty-time) your comrade Hannes ?-Diewenow, April 41".

Second: "Hänschen, the sceptic, october 42".

Complete script:
"Dir, lieber Hans, zur Erinnerung an schöne Stunden beim Kommiss.
Dein Kamerad Hannes.
W(est)-Dievenow, April 41."
"Hänschen der Skeptiker!
Okt(ober) 42"

Christian name of the writer was Hannes (or Johannes), his friend being named Hans (nickname Hänschen - also derived from Johannes)
Current location of the writer was West-Dievenow, Hinterpommern, now Dzivnow/Poland
