Re: What does this OOB Symbol mean?
Hi Andreas,
I appreciate your bewilderment, I cannot find the symbol either. A WAG is that it is from a Lw.Feld.Div and the symbol signifies an anti-tank unit. It is not included in the list of flying units: http://niehorster.orbat.com/011_germ...ols_43-lw.html not is it in the list of Heer units: http://niehorster.orbat.com/011_germ...ymbols_43.html bregds SES |

Re: What does this OOB Symbol mean?
Hi.
Agree with the conclusion that it is a Nahaufklärung unit, in my opinion it denotes the specialized Panzeraufklärungsstaffeln, at least it has in the cases I have seen it. Regards, Andreas B |

Re: What does this OOB Symbol mean?
Herr Schnauzl - may we ask the source of the Luftwaffe OB symbols you provided? I recognize the pages and the layout but I cannot remember the name of the book they come from.
