Do17 Kg2, U5+fh
Hi,
I'm looking for any info about this plane : Do17 U5+FH wich i suppose was from KG2. This plane seemed to be downed over France during first battle of France. Any information welcome and deeply appreciated ! Stéphane Muret |
Re: Do17 Kg2, U5+fh
Stephane,
Your codes are for 1./KG 2. Are you working from a photograph or some kind of records? If it is a photograph, what is the condition of the a/c? Wrecked or crash-landed intact? Any clues to location, or even area of the country? KG 2 had losses throughout this period, but with a little more information this can probably be sorted out. Best wishes, |
Re: Do17 Kg2, U5+fh
Hi Larry,
I'm working with a picture taken in France, Sens area, about 150 km east from Paris. Code ?5+FH is readable. According to me, it could only be : P5+FH but this is for DO 17 from Kü.FL.GR.406 = sea recce or U5+FH wich means a plane from KG2. The plane belly-landed. That's all what i could tell. Thanks for your help. Stephane Muret |
