21st February 1943 - Ju 88 losses in MTO
 
Hi,

I´m looking about Ju 88 losses in clash with P-38 Lightnings from 82nd FG in this date - all info are welcome.

Hi,
18 - P.38's of 95th F.S./82nd F.G. intercepted several Ju.52's with 8/10 ju.88's N. of Bizerte plus 2 - Bf.110's and an Arado 196.
Lt.E.Baldock claimed a Ju.52, while ju.88's were claimed by Capt.T.H.McAthur,
Lt.H.W.Roofner, Lt.C.Langdon & Lt.G.Jones: Maj.R.E.Kirtley claimed a Ju.88 plus the Ar.196.
I/KG.76, III/KG.54, II/KG.30 & I(F)/122 each lost a Ju.88 during this day

Hi Bruce,

thanks for your info - so taht means, taht 82nd FG pilot claims 5 Ju 88 and luftwaffe units loss 4 Ju 88. Do you know any details about Ju 88, Ju 52 and Ar 196 - W.Nr., name and fate of crews?

I still looking for W.Nr. and name of Ju 88´s crews shoted down this date - but have no archiv data - thanks for help like in this similar question about Ju 88 losses 15th January 1943 .
