Me 262 wrecks pictures on eBay

Re: Me 262 wrecks pictures on eBay
Hi Frank,
good find. The captions on the rear side of the photos "Hall" make it easy: Taken at Schwaebisch-Hall /Hessental where the Me262 was assembled in one of the forest factories. The airfield was also used by jet units, for example KG51. Destroyed by the retreating Germans or victims of Allied fighters? Karl |
Re: Me 262 wrecks pictures on eBay
Hi Karl,
Yes I did read back pictures. My WNr. ID question is just a joke, but who knows? Whatever happened it's certainly not "shotdown" as written! Tschüss, Franck. |
Re: Me 262 wrecks pictures on eBay
Dear Franck,
These are definitely bits and pieces photos. I'm guessing, but the Germans may have blown them up themselves. Still, interesting. I note that there is camera movement blur in the 4th photo. Regards, Richard |
