Hello,
Does anybody know approximently when he first flew his Me109G-14/AS?
Also, [long shot] any known victories with this machine?

I found a Uffz Karl Krimmer 11./JG 300 (KIA) in a dogfight on the 25Aug44 in Bf 109 G-14 (WNr. 780818) Red 6 as the 1st loss in this type of aircraft. The last victory for Trabert that I found was a Mustang on the 04Aug44 at UP 1-2 at 11:50.

Hello Nokose,

Thank you for the information! That should make his mount in the 780881 to 780999 WNr. range. By the way, where is 'UP 1-2'? The Jüterbog area?

Oberst,
Correction on the date of the claim it will be the 22Aug44 it could be with that model. the location listed with that is [UP1-2] 30-45 km. Bruenn, 1,800 m. It seems that he he made "emergency landing" on the 07Jul44 while in the 8./JG 300 after a dogfight flying a Bf 109 G-6 (163009) after air combat at Sangerhausen at 10:30, 100%.

Nokose,

By Bruenn, do you mean Brünn, Germany? Also, thanks for the additional information.

Re: Lt. Willi Trabert of 11./JG 300

Yes, east of Bruenn, Germany. This was in Jagdgeschwader 300 "Wilde Sau" volume one June 1943-September 1944 by Jean-Yves Lorant & Richard Goyat. He describes his crash and injury on the 07Jul44 in the book. In the narrative on page 291 it says the Mustang was shot down to the south of Bruenn and this was a 15th USAAF raid going after the refineries at Odertal and Blechhammer in Silesia.
