This officer was in III/KG 40 July 1943 but does not figure in the Rangliste of Jan 45 nor on the VDK site. The Officer career site can add nothing so can anyone else?
Update: Should have checked this first but I must have asked this question 8 years ago-he survived the war as Dönitz's personal pilot after flying with 11 & 9/KG 40. Born 1912
