Flpl. Reichenbach

Does anybody have info on a possible loss (damaged?) aircraft of JG 106 at Flpl. Reichenbach between October 4th - 10th 1944?

Thanks,

John

Hi John,
October 7th 1944 2./JG 106 lost 2 Bf 109 G-6

Ogefr. Leo Schmolke KIA near Staffangen (near Reichenbach)
Uffz. Ernst Hecklinger KIA near Oggelsbeuren

let me know if one is the loss you searching for.

Re: Flpl. Reichenbach

Hi Michael,

Additional information popped up. Date should be October 8th 1944 or at least that is the date when the pilot, an Uffz. Limmer ended up wounded in hospital. I am pretty sure this must have happened close near Flpl. Reichenbach. He was slightly injured so it could be recorded as a material loss.

Cheers,

John

That's it! Uffz. Limmer was in hospital Reichenbach/Eulengebirge (now Dzierzoniow/Poland), my mistake!
