Looking for Class 43-K yearbook Williams AFB, Chandler, Arizona
 

Hi to all,

I am looking for Class 43-K yearbook of Williams Air Field Base, Chandler, Arizona, unfortunately not listed on the downloadable collection at http://aafcollection.info/index.html
In particular a need a scan of the picture of Franklin E. Pate from Daly City, California - P-38 fighter pilot of 1st FG shot down and KIA in my town, Modena in North Italy, on 17 May 1944 - surely contained in this class book.
In fact, Franklin E. Pate completed his flight training and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant (Army Serial Number O-760380) at AAFPS, Williams Field, Chandler, Arizona, Class 43-K.
After many years of researches, this is the last opportunity I have to find a photo of the pilot, since there are no alive relatives of him and the 1st Fighter Group Veteran Association has no images in his archive.

Try the Reunion sites for the 1st FG , they usually have a historian and he may be able to help locate a photo, or try this site
