ADIK report 638A/1944 shows the capture of the crew of Ju52 -T+PR of 7/TG2. The aircraft is shown as taking-off from Funfkirchen (Plecs) Hungary at about 1500hrs to collect wounded from Sklopje, it landed at Esseg? and took off again at 1607hrs. After becoming lost it force- landed out of fuel at 2040hrs near Vanista and the crew were taken prisoner. Seeking help in confirming the name and career of the pilot, the report (which is hard to read) shows Pilot Oblt. Helmut ??XBERG born 29-10-10 holder of War Service Cross 1st class and bronze warflights badge. The B Maj Gerhard Dudeck Gp.Kom. held the RK, DKiG and EK1 ( info on him in the Luftwaffe Officer Careers Sumarries - thanks Larry and Doug ), BM ? Herbert Brueckner held EK1 and gold warflights badge . rest of crew Bf Uffz Hermann Fischer and Bs Obfw Josef Wiemer,
