Information concerning loss of Leutnant T. Klienhenz - Nachtjager - 05.04.1944
 

Hi,

Can anyone provide details over the unit, aircraft and loss of Leutnant Theo Klienhenz who was killed on the 5th april 1944 as part of a Nachtjager crew?

Leutnant Theo Kleinhenz was willed with 10./NJG 6. He previously belonged to 8./NJG 1 when stationed at Twente. He may have joined Lütje in his transfer to NJG 6.

XVth AF day attack on Ploesti 98 B-17 & 134 B-24 with an escort of 1st FG P-38.
For 10./NJG 6 loss of Bf 110 F-4 (WNr 4746), Ff Lt Theo KLEINHENZ killed, Bf Hermann GAMPE (from Vienna) baled out seriously wounded.
