Luftwaffe Pilot Karl Niessler

I'm trying to trace the service and death of Luftwaffe pilot, Karl Niessler. He was born at Engelhaus, Karlsbad, Bohemia but I'm not sure of the exact year. Neither do I know his exact year of death. The family believe he was a Ju87 'Stuka' pilot and was killed in action. Do any of you who maintain private casulty lists or other databases have a record of him? It may be possible that he used a different forename.

I have already checked -

http://www.luftwaffe.cz/
http://www.das-ritterkreuz.de
Aircrew Remembrance Society
http://www.volksbund...ntent_suche.asp
The Kracker Luftwaffe Archive...
http://www.ww2.dk/

I have been informed that the Vermisstenbildliste for Nachtschlacht, Schlacht and Stuka Geschwader has also been checked on my behalf but there was no one with the surname Niessler.

There is only one Karl Niessler in the Volksbund list:

He is missing since 1.1.1944 and as his grave has not been found up to date he is mentioned in the book of memory of the cemetery (Friedhofe)Sologubowka

Nachname: Niessler
Vorname: Karl
Geburtsdatum: 22.07.1908
Todes-/Vermisstenort: Ishorssk/Kronstadt/Kronstadt Insel/
Oranienbaum bei Leningrad/Peterhof/Prokowsino

However, nothing to indicate that he was Luftwaffe and the family story is that he was shot down by the Americans.

Any information gratefully received.
