At the risk of being rudely and crudely told that being from the USA, I could know nothing about Ju 88s, here is what I have on this aircraft. Ju 88 W.Nr.6773 (5K+BR and SO+OW), probably assembled about August 1942 in Oranienburg.

Best Regards,

Artie Bob

Many thanks Michael and Artie for your information.
Michael it would appear that 6773 served previously with 7/KG3 as 5K+BR quite rightly has Artie says, prob during the summer 1942 and perhaps beyond, as confirmed by photographic evidence.

Artie i wont dispute anything you say with regards JU88 production and relevant operational use. I know from long term posting on this forum that your information as always been precise and accurate!
Many thanks guys.
Steve.

Re: JU88A-4 W.Nr 6773 7/KG3.

Hi Artie, i have just noticed the sister a/c of W.Nr6773 being 6774 was "hit by enemy fighter in attack nr Suchinitschi, Russia 20.7.42" 9/KG3 , so perhaps W.Nr 6773 was produced a little earlier than August 1942 at Oranienburg?

Morning Norbert and Michael, and thanks to Norbert for confirming the manufacture date of May 1942 for W.Nr6773.

A great comprehensive round up on the operational career and demise of this particular a/c. Many thanks to everybody who helped.
