Are the the circumstances of the killing of Kloskowski, in April 1945, after he was taken prisoner by US forces known, and is the unit responsible known,

Yes, at least the general circumstances involving US 3rd Armored Division troops, after Gen. Rose was killed 3 weeks before.

Thanks very much for the information, I was statined at Barker Barracks (Panzer Kasene) Paderborn in the 1960s and was told of the shooting of SS prisoners by US Troops, by a German vet. I thought at the time this was unlikely but the web opens up a lot things that were not in the open at the time,
