Hawker Tempest , EJ803
 

Hello all,

I am currently researching the career of my late grandfather F/Lt M F Edwards , 133358. He lost his life on the 29th December 1944, his Tempest JF-V , EJ803 of 3(f) Squadron RAF came down around 11.30am in the moorland next to the railway line just outside the German town of Spelle.

I'd very much like to try and find out any information about the Tempests final moments and if any information exists about the Tempest after the crash.
