Hello

On the night of 3/4 October 1943 this pilot of 9./NJG 1 was shot down by return fire from a RAF bomber and forced to bale out wounded over Bohmte near Wittlage in Westfalen. He had earlier claimed his second victory that evening. I have read that the aircraft he was flying was Bf 110 G-4 (W.Nr. 5359) but it appears there is some confusion regarding this. Could anyone attempt to confirm that this was the machine and furthermore could add the name of the Bordfunker and/or Bordschütze and if he too was wounded and/or baled out? Any information will be much appreciated.

1943-10-03, 9./NJG 1, Bf 110G-4, 5339, G9+AT, Bohmte, 5 km nordwestlich Harpenfeld, Absturz um 20.50 Uhr nach Luftkampf. Bruch 100 %.
Flugzeugführer Olt Lau, Fritz, verletzt (Olt Lau mit Fallschirm abgesprungen)
Bordmechaniker Ogfr Weber, Erwin, + (Ogfr Weber mit Fallschirm abgesprungen)
Bordfunker mit Fallschirm abgesprungen.
