Crashlanded spitfire -54 Sq
Going through my pictures I found a series of photos of a crash landed Spitfire of 54 Sq. I rhink its from the Dunkirk period showing an early Spitfire I. Any ideas as to identity?

Re: Crashlanded spitfire -54 Sq
Hello, I have another photo of this a/c in the EoE photo DB. It looks like it was used for target practice before it was salvaged. The a/c has a white rear fuselage band dating it to Nov., 1940 or later, and has the code KLoE or KLoF. Regards, Larry Hickey EoE Project Coordinator |
