Dogfight between pilots of the 79th FG and 77 JG over Tyrrhenian Sea. Need info!

Hello All,
we are a group of divers and during one of our dive, we found a wreck of a Bf 109 G6 off the coast between Tarquinia and Montalto di Castro, Central Italy.
We don’t yet found the Werknummer but we think that the fighter was shot down on May 15, 1944, after a dogfight. So we found written on some documents and so we were told some witnesses. This could be the Bf 109 Wnr. 162739 , 3./JG 77, never found again, that had just a dogfight in that area.
We are in possession of MATAF N° 400 of 15th May, in which it is reported that the pilots of the 79th FG claimed two Bf 109s and a FW 190 as destroyed as well as one Bf 109 probable.
Can you help me find the names of American pilots who shot down the German aircrafts?
In the attachment the photo of the serial number of the DB 605
