Fw 200 " F8+BW"
 

Hi , does anybody know what was the fate of Fw 200 F8+BW that was flown by Hauptmann Edmund Daser . This plane was well photographed especially the tail section showing the missions flown and ships sunk .

Wk Nr would make it positive whilst +BW would mean it was with the Ergänzungsgruppe?

Hi Chris , sorry do not have the Wk Nr. for F8+BW . I picked up a nice photo recently showing the unit number and tail markings of the above plane . I know it's possible that there was more than one Fw200 with the unit markings but the tail "tally" must be unique to Daser .

I have a photo of the Fobker crew with F8+BW taken at Angers when they flew Genlt Kessler to Neubrandenburg. Still doesn't tell us more about the fate

Thanks Chris , just moving slightly off this topic I also have a photos of a Fw200 with what appears to be the codes F8+BV , have you ever come across this plane ? However the tail "tally" on both Fw200 seem the same .
