Wekusta 51 claim against a Hudson on 29 January 1942
 

Hello,

On 29 January 1942 the Hudson III AM946 of 1 OADU RAF went missing during a transit flight from Portreath to Gibraltar with three crew (two of 59 Sqn, one of 608 Sqn) and one civilian passenger aboard.

The same day, according to Tony Wood's claim list, a crew of Wekusta 51 claimed a Hudson shot down at 1035 hrs in Pl.Qu. 15 West/807, at an altitude of 100m.

If someone has more details on the Wekusta 51 claim, such as the identity of the involved crew, I will be interested.

A French contact told me that the missions reports for Wekusta 51 are available in the Bundesarchiv, in files RL 10/516 ou RL 10/517.

If some has copies of these files, I will be interested in the report of 29 January 1942... if it exists.
