Lists of passengers of BOAC in 1942-1943
Hi,
In the last issue of Batailles Aériennes (n°63 "Des loups sur l'atlantique - les chasseurs lourds du V./KG40) http://www.aircraft-navalship.com/pr...aeriennes/1987 Chris Goss wrote the last moments of Leslie Howard shot down aboard DC-3 G-AGBB, BOAC ex a/c of KLM company on 1/6/43. The author gives a total of 16 persons : crew + 7 men + Howard, 3 women one child and one baby. As BOAC did regularly flights between Lisbonne and UK I wonder whether lists of passengers are available "somewhere" ? Does anybody know where such lists must be browsed ? Thanks in advance Bertrand |

Hello Bertrand,
This link gives names of crew and passengers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BOAC_Flight_777 There are several links on the www and can be found by using either Howard's name, or G-AGBB or Flight 777. All the very best Alex |
Re: Lists of passengers of BOAC in 1942-1943
Hi Alex
Thanks for replying ; rather than details on flight 777 my interest with BOAC are (all !) names of passengers who have been aboard during 42 and 1943. Some of them were Free French and went to UK via Spain then Portugal before to take often ships and more rarely ex-civilian airlines. Bertrand |

I got a copy of the passenger list from here:
http://www.britishairways.com/travel...n/public/en_gb What else they have I do not know and it would appear that you would have to pay (I did not then!) |
