What's this? It's not a German plane?! But German registration?! |
Re: Photos 2-5-13
Hi Falcon
It is a Caproni 113 registered D-INUP. Se Ed West photos from I believe 2-2-13 where you have much nicer photo of the same aircraft. Cheers Stig |
Re: Photos 2-5-13
Stig,
I think you are mistaken. It is not a Ca 113 which was a biplane while the registration D-INUP was allocated to an Arado 65...another biplane. Several German companies have flirted with true parasol over the years, but they have been few and far between. Hal |
Re: Photos 2-5-13
Its 100% sure D-INUP a Ca113. I Have more Pics on my HD.
I cant show these due copyrights. |
Re: Photos 2-5-13
No worries Hal
It is a Ca 113 and I am just as certain as Vincent van is.;) Perhaps you think we are talking about the parasol here http://www.ebay.de/itm/ws/eBayISAPI....m=300857544573 which to be honest I can't identify. Cheers Stig |
Re: Photos 2-5-13
The Hs 122 in the last photo album is very interesting.

Re: Photos 2-5-13
Hi
Stig/Peter are correct D-INUP a Ca 113, it would be nice if somebody has a photo of D-24** to see if same colour scheme and the same a/c. Tom Willis has done some research on the high wing a/c and identifies it as the sole Ruhrtaler RU 3 Tony |
Re: Photos 2-5-13
Primoz
Yes the Hs 122 was one of the types I checked, but I fail to see a) a radial engine b) the correct stabilizor (set low here, but high on the Hs 122) c) any struts d) the correct fin. So what makes you think it is a Hs 122? Cheers Stig |
Re: Photos 2-5-13
The rare Bf 161 in the last photo album. Thanks Ed!!
