Info needed on F/Sgt L.R Cook, DFM - 50 Squadron
Hiya all,
I have recently got hold of some paperwork and photos on eBay belonging to F/Sgt L.R Cook who was awarded the DFM while serving with 50 Squadron when on a bombing raid on the 20 - 21 June 1943 against Friedrichshafen. Can anyone add to the information I have, where he was from, family, The citation. Pics of his aircraft, ORB's etc. Really grateful for looking and your help. Regards, Danny |

Hi Danny,
Was his pilot a P/O. Mason on that date, if so I have a copy of the combat report for 20th June 1943 when they engaged a JU88. The Sgt. Cook on this aircraft, Lancaster III, DV156 'C' was the air bomber. Regards, Russ |
