Ken Jernstedt - Last A.V.G. "Flying Tiger" Pilot has passed.
 

Good Evening Everyone!!

Hate to pass along sad news, but this is truly an end of an era. I am almost certain, Mr. Jernstedt was the last surviving A.V.G. pilot alive.

He was a true gentleman, just like all of them were. God Bless Mr. Jernstedt and all those brave flyers who flew with the American Volunteer Group.

96 years....now that's an innings.
