Has anyone got any idea what the navigator is doing? An inflight repair or using a fairly complex piece of equipment for navigation?

The http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tem=6230284962 is the first Bf 109F to land intact in England. F-2, W.Nr. 12764 was a mount of Hptm. Pingel, Gr.K. of I./JG 26 who c/l near Dover on 10/07/41.

I think this Ju 88 A-4/D-1 crewmember might be a Meteorologist from an Westa unit and simply reading, checking or calibrating his barograf!
