a new find in the sea of the area Glyphada-Kalamaki
Hi Forum,
A friend (diver) took the following pics yesterday near the coast of Glyphada-Kalamaki. I think, this must be a wreck of a Ju 52, a wing and a part of the fuselage are still there. Any ideas? Byron |

Hi,
Can any body tell me, where can one search on the Ju 52, in order to find the plate with the "Werknummer"? The diver is searching for the rest of the plane. Byron |

Hello byron,
if there are remains of the rear fuselage section still to find, it would be my best guess for to seek the ID-plate of that (Ju 52) kite. Good luck for Your fellow and all the best to You as well Norbert |

Danke Norbert,
I hope my friend will find the rest, a fisherman knows the place. Byron |

The main ID plate on a Ju52 was down low on the left side of the fuselage, roughly in line with the forward section of the cockpit canopy.

Is this really a 3-Mot?
Otherwise a Junkers W 34 or any of the Junkers corrugated-steel designs might fit as well. Regards Roland |

Hello Stephen, hello Roland,
the length of the wing is approximately 10 meters. I guess it could be a Ju 52. Βyron |
