Ed,

Yeah, and it means "You've got good eyes, you know". It's a joke based on a replica of the well known French film actor Jean Gabin in "Le Quai des Brumes" directed by Marcel Carné in 1938 where he says to actress Michèle Morgan "T'as des beaux yeux, tu sais" (You've got beautiful eyes, you know) and she replies "Embrassez-moi" (Kiss me).

Franck, your turn ;-))

Yes Ed,

And it's a reference to Marc sharp eyes performance in last Me262 identification thread!
"Bons" is quite close with "Beaux" in French. Doesn't work in English with "Good" and "Beautiful".
Marc knew/guessed already I wrote it for him. Well I suppose he did. :D

Thank you both! Thank you Marc!.. But "Widely photographed" ???? where?
When these two colour pictures (there is another one and may be a third I didn't keep being too blured) were pointed times ago, no one was able to give the WNr.
And there are two others from eBay...

But "widely"; OK, why not? Do you have them? Send them when you want I'll be happy!

Cheers, Franck.

PS: Marc at last you reached the "Alter Hase" position! It's true you did a lot recently.
PPS: I thought 111 795!!!

Guys,

Could it be this plane was part of KG(J)54? (or should I say: blague dans le coin ;))) I see a faint diagonal stripe from the cockpit on the color picture and a sure diagonal mark on the black/white picture. A step further and there should be a Karoband (unfortunately it isn't)....

Yo Franck,

Thanks for the congrats... It's great to be an old rabbit at long last... (and yet not to feel like one;-)). As for the widely photographed term, you'll have to check back on all the Dan Mc Connell works to see the other -numerous- pics.

Philippe, nothing to add on my side;-))

Cheers
Marc
