Photo album A. Kleber, Berlin-Tempelhof 1946

Gentlemen,
today I stumbled across the source mentioned above (http://www.genealogycenter.info/mili...ch_kleber2.php) and now I have a question about one of the Ju 52s in these pictures - Next to D-AMFR "Ludwig Hautzmayer" you can see another Lufthansa-operated Ju 52, named Max Lim...: http://www.genealogycenter.info/mili...on.Berlin.1946

According to a listing in Avions magazine #128 this should be "Max Limbach" which was allegedly left at Tempelhof airport in 1945. Obviously this is true, but the magazine provides neither a source for this information nor any other data. Can anyone help with the registration of this aircraft or knows about any additional photos of it? Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,
Christian

That was quick, thank you both!

Steve: This one I already knew about - sorry if I didn't make myself clear enough. But thanks anyway, your help is always welcome!

Peter: So this example survived the war all the way from being captured in 1940? Very interesting - what's your source, if I may ask?

Source is a original list from Lufthansa. I've got this list from Werner Bittner who wrote this excellent book on the DLH during the war.
http://www.amazon.de/Lufthansa-Krieg.../dp/9086161308
In the book (unfortunately in this strange language:D) is another photo of this Ju 52. He will publish this list in the second volume.

Peter

Thanks Peter,
an answer as thorough as always! And thanks for the hint - I didn't know Bittner's book yet. Now why does talking to you always result in acquiring new stuff? ;)

Christian
