Not RAF but FAA

Hi guys

I'm trying to find photographs and family details of the following FAA pilots who lost killed flying from HMS Avenger or lost when Avenger was sunk.

Lt Patrick W.V. MASSY DSO DSC (from South Kensington, London)

Lt Edward W. TAYLOUR DSC

Sub-Lt Ian Peter GARROW DSC

Lt Anthony R. LAURIE DSC (from Blackheath, London)

Any help appreciated.
Cheers
Brian

Thanks, Dave

That's a start - it's photos that are hard to find!

Write too their local papers, local churches, trace their family tree using ancestry.com, create a website of your own with a firm reason why you want their loved ones photos, for a book, article, commercial effort or free publication. Most of the people with photos may be elderly and wont be reading TOCH. Need to be more active than passive to gather photos.

Many thanks Mr Burke and Mr Burke!

Yes, I will be searching local newspapers on my next visit to the National Newspaper Library in London - I've done this in the past with some good results.

Whilst I have your attention, gentlemen, can you point me in the direction of a photo of LtCdr Bill Bruen DSC, a Dublin man from, I believe, a well known family?

Cheers
Brian
