Mombeeks JG2 Band 3 info needed
 

As i can not read French, i whould like to know if there are anything regarding the Bf109 G1 W.Nr 14055 there.
Crashed 30.07 1942 name on pilot, number, pictures, anything that kan give us at sola aviation museum more history on this airframe.

Priens JVS Teil 7 covers the same time / erea, do i find the same information here? Have anyone compared these to volumes?

Still no one that have read the band 3 ? Is it possible for anyone to scan the actual chapter to me. About the G1 airframes. Send it to eknutso@broadpark.no

I have orded the prien teil 7 to compare with / sher information

So no we have 14055 with JG26 or JG2 30.7.42
Bf 109G-1, 14055, n.n., 11./JG 26, NI+BY, 30-Jul-42, Notlandung due to Luftkampf with Spitfire
But you say volum 10, Prien, is this an update off the information given in teil 7 then. Interesting, lokking forvard to the arrival of teil 7 and the G1 information from both JG26 and JG2. Hope we can get som conformation by fotos
Have anyone checked in the Jet & Prop series, may be there are somthing interesting.

The volume 10 reference is not for Prien but for:
Gen.Qu.6.Abt. (mfm #6)-Vol.10

Recived the volum today, and prien list it with 11/JG26 on page 418. It is the same loss info 70% damage. But ther were few fotos of G1 within this group. So look for fotos wit a small wavy line at the tail. This was the last group reciving G1`s. First JG1, then JG2. So if you are after a volum covering G1 this is it.
Is there other book`s covering more spesific 11/JG26?

Donald Caldwell have written some books about Jg26. In his War diary volume 1 on page 236 there are some action related to a G1 crashing at Audembert. Anyone having his other books. I have sendt him a mail, so i hope i can get some more info from him. The G1 foto is from priens Teil 7 so you all know what to look for.
