Looking for info on Werner Husemann (Stab/NJG1)
 

Dear all,

Because of his connection with the crash of Stirling BF383 "WP-T" of 90 Sqn RAF (night of 27 April 1943 on a raid to/from Duisburg, Germany, see my thread on the Allied Board), I'm looking for information on (then) Oblt. Werner Husemann (Stab/NJG1). According to Theo Boiten, Husemann shot down this aircraft rather than Ofw. Heinz Vinke as was previously thought.


Questions that I have on Husemann:

• Who were his crew members that night?
• From which airfield did he take off or land?
• Does anybody have more info on his career, such as rank or kills?
• Any photos of him and his crew/aircraft?
• Apparently Husemann survived the war. Does anybody have more info on his postwar career/whereabouts?
