Re: WW1 aircraft (?) parts to ID
Hello,
Here is the first: a bulged cover (30 cm / 20 cm) made of light alu, slight trace of black paint on outer side. 2 kind of gills. Best regards ClinA-78 |
Re: WW1 aircraft (?) parts to ID
If it is aluminum....I would be suspect of it coming from WWI. Not that aluminum wasnt used..I think it's use was limited.

Re: WW1 aircraft (?) parts to ID
Hello,
Here is the long-time promised part: a bulged cover (for pulley?), typical of WWI aircraft. The former aerodrome, where it was found, was used during Summer 1918 by Germans and shortly by RAF after 1918 Armistice. Unfortunately this piece did'nt attract much attention at The Aerodrome forum. Hope my beloved forum will be interested! Best regards ClinA-78 |
