Seeking information JU88 of 3/Staffel Küstenflieger-Gruppe 106.
 

Can anybody help me I am looking for details of a JU88 of 3/Staffel Küstenflieger-Gruppe 106. Which crashed in the English Channel, 30 June 1942, 2 of the Crew were later laid to rest in Rye Harbour East Sussex, Thank you for any help, Jako 63.

I have 3 machines from this unit for 22-Jun, 25-Jun and 31-Jul-42, the first with unknown locations (meaning they probably went in the drink, and the 3rd off St. Alban's Head. Nothing for 30-Jun-42.

I have in my notes 31/1-6-1942 Ju88A-4 M2+AK KFG106 2079 shot down by a Beaufighter of 219 Sqd F/O Harper and F/Sgt. Hubbard, crashed into the sea off Winchelsea at 0123hrs. Ff Ogef. Hasso Stangler, B Ogef. Eugen Strotbeck, Bf Uffz Gerhard Heinz, Bs Ogef Johann Zimmbauer missing. Bodies of the Ff anb B washed ashore on 30-7-1942 and buried at Rye, body of BF picked up by RN off Dungeness on 1-6-42 and buried at sea,
