Lufwaffe loss 18.07.42, France

Hello,

616 Sqn claimed a confirmed victory on 18 July 42 against a Fw190 whose pilot was seen to bale out over the Channel off Le Touquet.
Does anyone know anything about this German loss?

Hi Phil,

18.07.1042 near Le Touquet, 5./JG 2, Fw. Klaus Oldermann bailed out wounded,
shot down due to enemy fire, FW 190 A-2 122257 100%
takeoff was Beaumont-le-Roger
