370th FG Paul D. Barrett bail out

On 4 Dec 1944, Lt Paul D. Barrett of 370th FG/485th FS bailed out of his crippled P-47? 42-68185 somewhere over Germany. MACR is 10870.

What happened and where did the crash occur?

That happened in the area of Hellenthal SE (D) / Rocherath (B) he was shot down by the flak and baled out , unfortunately the wind bring him in enemy held territory
