Douglas Bader bio/Paul Brickhill
Is this one good?

Re: Douglas Bader bio/Paul Brickhill
This would be "Reach For the Sky" I'd reckon. These days I think it would be seen as a rather idealised uncritical look at Bader, who was not a man without faults for all his many sterling qualites of leadership & compassion toward those similarly afflicted. There are other more objective books about Bader though at present I can't think of the titles. :(A search on Amazon or similar website will give a list of titles & reviews. The biography by Turner reviews quite well. Noted RAF author Dilip Sarkar has very recently published a biography as well though there are no reviews as yet for that. The Brickhill book has the bare bones of his life OK but is lacking objectivity in some opinions.
