Good Evening,

I'm currently reading Peter Cornwell's book of the Battle of France, Then and Now. On 10/05/40 7./KG 1 lost 3 bombers during an attack on airfields in the area of Albert.
On checking my files I found that the plane of Oblt. Kurt-Joachim Schnaase belonged to 8./KG 1. Apparantly I found this entry in "Twelve Days in May" written by Cull/Lander/Weiss.
Does anyone has more info to which unit Schnaase belonged?
And can someone provide me with the first name of Beobachter von Schmidt from the Ofw. Kurt Buchholz crew also of 7./KG 1?

I have a note, that in NVM Schnaase's crew belonged to 7./KG 1.
The name is Karl-Heinz von Schmidt.
