Currently the best publication on Bf 110

Hi, guys.

I have amassed a number of books on the Bf 110 over the years, but what do you think are the best ones currently available (comments on pros/cons also welcome)?

Regards,
Andreas B

Well apart from anything from John Vasco..... my personal favourites are the Zerstorer und Nachtjagdverbande books By Meyer and Stipdonk published by VDM because of the large format images and well informed captions.

Hello Andreas,

To my modest opinion, the Mankau&Petrick book is the best reference work I know of. When it comes to operational use, the wellknown publications of John Vasco and Chris Goss are my favorates.

The Meyer&Stipdonk volumes do contain a lot of interesting photo's but that doesn't make these very useful as a reference work.

All the best, Marcel

I concur with Mankau/Petrick on the best/my favorite book on technical details (Messerschmitt Bf 110/Me 210/Me 410: An Illustrated History).

I would love to see a BF109 book done in the same style, with the minutes of meetings when discussions on development are going on. Very insightful into explaining why certain decisions were made.
