Re: Photos 6-25-13
Hi Gents,
Thank you very much Ed. About that album: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LUFTWAFFE-PH...-/111101899540? There is something like an unknown emblem; am I wrong? We can find it on a flag board but on moto side-car, too, photos. Early emblem? Or: Since the chick has no feather, a school emblem? Some Ju 52s have two bands wrapping fuselage: a "Blind Schule" ??? Any clues? Regards, Franck. |
Re: Photos 6-25-13
Dear Franck,
the emblem You are talking about must belong to KGrzbV 9 (published in Ketley & Rolfe "Luftwaffen Embleme 1939-1945"). In the photo-album the insignia obviously ist mirror-inverted - or it is in Ketley & Rolfe's book - i don't know. Anyway it matches at least. Best Regards Norbert |
Re: Photos 6-25-13
Hello Norbert,
Sorry, I don't have it; hence my wrong thoughts! I only have a KGrzbV 9 1. Staffel it seems: a stork carrying a baby(?) Inside a cloud ... Can you send me a scan? Is there a plane's photo too?? ouidjat@hotmail.com Regards, Franck. |
Re: Photos 6-25-13
Hi pals,
... By the way: I have no emblem book(s). What can I buy? The best (if any) and last update ... I think it's time to spend a little money! Thanks for your suggestions. Regards, Franck. |
