Req info on Ofhr.Günther Bernsau of 1./JG1
 

I would like to find all information concerning this pilot, Ofhr.Günther Bernsau of 1./JG1. Training, victories (17.07.1944 and 30.07.1944 / Allied victims) and fateful day : 07.08.1944. I am in touch with Archives center of Essone but they learnt me that nothing was found in Angerville (South Paris) the city where possibly this pilot went down. No grave is known too. This center also wrote me not to confuse with "Unteroffizier Wäschle shot down near Montdésir (10 km Norther) on 10.08.1944. I will go there during July to study every villages and towns around Angerville. Therefore, is there any contact who could give me more information about the crash site?

1944-08-07, 1./JG 1, FW 190A-8, 732039, 12 weiße, Bei Angerville, 18 km südwestlich Etampes, Absturz nach Luftkampf mit US-Jäger. Bruch 100 %.
