Early war career of Oblt. Hermann Reifferschidt?
 

Hello,

I have conflicting evidence of the early-war career of Oblt. Hermann Reifferscheidt.

One highly credible source says that he was the Gr Adj of I./JG20 at the beginning of the war.

However, the Kracker Arhive says that he was with I./JG2 at the beginning of the war. Can anyone resolve this discrepancy?

He joined JG 2 in jan 38 & in spring 1940 moved to Werneuchen for instructor duties. No mention from him of going to JG 20. At some stage he was Gr Adj to von Massow
