In the Skies of Europe. A opinion?

Hi
There is a book written by Hans Werner Neulen,
IN THE SKIES OF EUROPE: Air Forces Allied to the Luftwaffe 1939-1945
ISBN: 1861267991

May someone can say something more about this book (opinion)?

Thanks
Mirek W

For anyone who has an interest in the air power of the Axis then this book is a must. It provides excellent detail not only on the various Axis air powers and a good, concise history of Germany's partners. It covers campaigns, battles, numbers, aces, training, structure, contribution and overall impact of the various air forces.

Indeed it may surprise a few people that for a considerable time over a quarter of the aircraft flown on the Russian Front were manned by non- German aircrews.

It is an excellent book, eminently readable.

For those interested a breakdown of the books contents is as follows:

Part I: The Allies
Italy - Regia Aeronautica
....... - Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana
Romania - Fortele Aeriene Regale Romana
Hungary - Magyar Kiralyi Honved Legiero
Bulgaria - Vozdushni Voiski
Croatia - Zrakoplovstro NDH
Slovakia - Slovenske Vzdusne Zbrane

Part II: Special Cases
Finland - Suomen Ilmavoimat
Vichy-France - L'Armee de l'Air de l'Armistice

Part III: Foreign Flying Personnel in the Luftwaffe
Introduction
Norwegians
Danes
French
Belgians
Dutch

The ISBN is 1 86126 326 0
