Black 4 is described in several publications as "black 4 of 2./JG.7 from Praha - Ruzyne airfield". But it appears to have a black III gruppe bar between the red and blue bands.

The first photo shows Me262B-1a with the marking B3+ZM. The aircraft is described in detail in David E. Brown, Tomas Poruba et al. book Messerschmitt Me 262s of KG and KG(J) units, Vol. III of the Luftwaffe Over Czech Territory series.

Kind regards

:D Thanks Ad Astra; If we don't have the book, how do we know? And B3 only before the cross??? It seems there is something more.

Thanks Norbert,
Yes they are known but I don't remember to have seen any discussion about them.

Regards, Franck.

Hi all,

I don't have the book of David E. Brown, Tomas Poruba et al. "Messerschmitt Me 262s of KG and KG(J) units" , Vol. III of the Luftwaffe Over Czech Territory series. Can someone who does give me more details about this B3+ZM?

Thanks in advance,
Rudi.
