interesting photo of wreck of Defiant L6961 PS-E - lost 31.5.1940 in collision with another Defiant P6980 from same unit.

Hello,

According to EOE British Loss DB: ""264 SQ, Duford: Defiant L6961. Collided with P/O Young during combat with Bf109s of III./JG26 and belly-landed outside Dunkirk 2.40 p.m. (Pilot) P/O D. Whitley and (AG) LAC Turner unhurt. Aircraft PS*E fired by crew."
