Don't know about it being 8./JG 51 specifically, but certainly there are a number of photos of the Ges.Kom. Molders.

Right Jim,

Even the second Bf 109 photo has nothing to do with 8./JG 51 .. At least with 2./JG 20.

Hi Guys,

Any possibility to be 1./JG 70?

According to Prien JFV Teil 1. That Gruppe (1 and 2 Staffeln) received around 50 Bf 109 D and was under I./JG 51 command (more or less cause I don't read German very well)

Note that 1./JG 70 was Under Oblt. Reinhard Seiler, Staka. ... a former pilot of J88 in Spain.
All in all, to say the least, I like that solution. Which is only a suggestion, of course.
